Finally here I introduce my new work developed through my MA project.
This is a book reflecting dualistic elements of tales such as good/evil, young/old or happy/unhappy. I also developed this book form using both side of paper from the view point of insider/outsider and known/unknown. Folded paper creates the notion of inside/outside and it suggests that a story can be changed by a different teller or a hidden story we never know.
I illustrated two stories (happy and unhappy ending) on a long strip of paper using front and back. As it was folded as pages you can read through in the both ways turning from right to left and from left to right. The point is that these two stories are connected each other through holes representing as windows and a mirror in terms of reversing inside and outside, and a different point of view.

物語の典型的な要素として挙げられる二元性（善／悪、若／老、幸／不幸など）を基に、紙を折った時に生じる「ウチ」と「ソト」という考えを発展させた本です。「内輪の話」や「蚊帳の外」というように立場によっては肝心な部分が見えなかったり、語り手によって話は変えられたり隠蔽されたりします。
紙の表と裏を使ってふたつのストーリ（幸／不幸）を表現し、さらにそれを折ることで両側にページを開ける本にしました。また、くり抜かれた窓や鏡を通して、裏側に描かれた絵を見ることができ、表と裏の反転や語り手の視点の違いを表現しています。
