Happily ever after?

I had completed the Phase 1 in my MA course.
This is a part of my project. I looked at the reality through fantasy since we can see fairy tales as a cultural/social mirror. Our culture has been shaped by storytelling, and in turn, storytelling has been shaped by the culture. I also explored the fact that stories can be changed by a different teller and the potential that readers can alter stories.
Retelling a traditional happy ending story this book alludes to readers the possibility of a gap between the fact and what we were told. Furthermore, I have been aware these gaps even more since my country, Japan, had a nuclear explosion.

Do you believe that Cinderella lived "happily ever after"??
